Candace Cameron Bure

Candace Cameron Bure made a brief appearance alongside older brother Kirk Cameron on Growing Pains before getting her big break on Full House. Cameron Bure played D.J. Tanner on the sitcom from 1987 to 1995.

Cameron Bure later starred on ABC Family’s Make It or Break It from 2009 to 2012. She also found success with the Hallmark Channel, starring in several Christmas films and in the Aurora Teagarden Mysteries series for the network until 2022. She competed on Dancing With the Stars in 2014, finishing in third place with her pro partner, Mark Ballas. Cameron Bure cohosted The View from 2015 to 2016.

Cameron Bure reprised her role as D.J. Tanner on Fuller House from 2016 to 2020. After leaving Hallmark, Cameron Bure became the chief content officer of Great American Media in 2022.

The actress married hockey player Valeri Bure in 1996. The couple welcomed daughter Natasha in 1998 and sons Lev and Maksim in 2000 and 2002, respectively.
