Andrea Barber

Andrea Barber was born on July 3, 1976, in Los Angeles, California. Barber’s first major acting role came in 1982 when she began starring as Carrie Brady on Days of Our Lives. She appeared on the soap opera until 1986. One year later, Barber began appearing as Kimmy Gibbler on Full House. Barber starred on the sitcom until 1995 and later reprised her role in the Full House spin-off series Fuller House on Netflix, which ran from 2016 to 2020. Following her role on Fuller House, Barber appeared in the Nickelodeon show That Girl Lay Lay from 2021 to 2024. Aside from acting, Barber also earned an English degree from Whittier College and graduated with an MA in Women’s Studies from University of York, England.

As for Barber’s personal life, she married Jeremy Rytky in 2002. The twosome went on to welcome son Tate in 2004 followed by daughter Felicity in 2007. In 2014, Barber and Rytky announced that they were getting a divorce.
