The TLC series’ preview clip shows Amy preparing for her pool party and realizing that the cameras she and Matt had discussed installing are suddenly in place and recording video footage. (The pair’s divorce was filed in 2015 and finalized in May 2016, although they continue to work on their Oregon farm together.)
“Matt never mentioned that he actually had the cameras installed,” she says in a testimonial. “What are these cameras doing, and what are they looking at?”
When Amy, 52, informs her ex-husband, 55, of her concerns, he tells her, “There’s nothing on your house, if that’s what you’re asking.… Nothing on your house, nothing on your backyard — nothing.”
“I’m only doing it for cars that enter the farm,” he continues. “The plan is to see who comes and goes, and what the fields look like, and if somebody’s out there goofing around with my pumpkin patch.”
But Amy isn’t pleased with this response. “So you’re like a police cam?” she wants to know. “God, you are just spitting, spitting, spitting out answers.”
Watch the heated exchange in the clip. Little People, Big World airs on TLC Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
