About

Amy Roloff (born Amy Jo Knight) is a reality TV star, author and entrepreneur best known for starring on TLC’s Little People, Big World. Amy spent her childhood in Michigan, where she was diagnosed with achondroplasia, a form of dwarfism. She attended Central Michigan University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in business in 1985.

Before reality TV fame, Amy worked as a preschool teacher. In 2006, Little People, Big World premiered on TLC, documenting her family life on Roloff Farms in Oregon. The show became a long-running hit and turned Roloff into a familiar face for TLC viewers as it chronicled parenting, marriage and navigating life with dwarfism.

Over the years, Amy appeared in more than 20 seasons of Little People, Big World. She has also authored several books, including Short and Simple Family Recipes (2012) and A Little Me (2019). Beyond television, she launched Amy Roloff’s Little Kitchen, a baking brand featuring fudge and seasonal treats, expanding her profile as a business owner.

Roloff married Matt Roloff in 1987. They share four children: Jeremy Roloff (born in 1990), Zach Roloff (born in 1990), Molly Roloff (born in 1993) and Jacob Roloff (born in 1997). Amy and Matt divorced in 2016. She later wed Chris Marek in 2021 after several years of dating.
