Matt Roloff

Matt Roloff (born Matthew James Roloff) is a reality TV star best known for starring in TLC’s Little People, Big World, which chronicles the lives of the Roloff family on their farm in Oregon. Roloff was born with a form of dwarfism and underwent numerous surgeries as a child.

Roloff worked in the tech industry as a computer programmer and software salesman before gaining national attention in 2006 when Little People, Big World premiered on TLC. The series focused on daily life with dwarfism and managing Roloff Farms, a working pumpkin farm. The show became one of the network’s longest-running reality series and brought widespread visibility to the dwarfism community.

In addition to starring in Little People, Big World, Roloff has written several books, including Against Tall Odds: Being a David in a Goliath World (1999). He has also served as a motivational speaker and cofounded the nonprofit organization Coalition for Dwarf Advocacy.

Roloff married Amy Knight in 1987. The couple share children Jeremy, Zach, Molly and Jacob. They announced their separation in 2014 and finalized their divorce in 2016. Roloff became engaged to longtime girlfriend Caryn Chandler in 2023, but the two called it off in 2025.
