Ryan Seacrest

Born in Atlanta in 1974, Ryan Seacrest rose to prominence when he began hosting American Idol in 2002. The television personality maintained the hosting gig until the series finale in 2016 and resumed his post when the reality show returned on a new network in 2018.

Seacrest became an executive producer and cohost of Dick Clark‘s Rockin’ New Years Eve in 2005 and continued to head the holiday special after Clark’s death in 2012. The Georgia native’s other hosting gigs include On Air With Ryan Seacrest and American Top 40.

The producer signed a three-year, $21 million deal with E! in January 2006 to host and produce various programs, including E! News and red carpet awards show coverage. During his tenure at the network, Seacrest created and produced Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

In May 2017, it was announced that Seacrest would join Kelly Ripa as a cohost and executive producer of Live With Kelly and Ryan. Six years later, the media personality announced that he was stepping down from his post in February 2023. He would later become host of Wheel of Fortune.

Seacrest has been linked to numerous starlets and models over the years, including Sara Jean Underwood, Julianne Hough, and Shayna Taylor. He began dating model Aubrey Paige Petcosky in 2021 but broke up in April 2024.
