Saved by the Bell

American sitcom Saved By The Bell is a spinoff of the Disney Channel series Good Morning, Miss Bliss and follows a group of high school friends. The series was targeted toward kids and young teens, often portraying lighthearted comedic situations while occasionally touching on more serious social issues regarding drug and substance use, homelessness, death, women’s rights and environmentalism.

The main cast included Zack Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselaar), Samuel Powers (Dustin Diamond), Lisa Marie Turtle (Lark Voorhies), Kelly Kapowski (Tiffani-Amber Thiessen), Jessie Spano (Elizabeth Berkley), A.C. Slater (Mario Lopez) and Principal Richard Belding (Dennis Haskins).

The series premiered in 1989 and ran until 1993 with four seasons total. It produced multiple spinoffs, including Saved by the Bell: College Years, Saved by the Bell: The New Class and Saved by the Bell (2020 TV Series), along with the TV movies Saved by the Bell: Hawaiian Style and Saved by the Bell: Wedding in Las Vegas.
