The Resident

The Resident premiered on Fox in 2018 and follows the lives and duties of the medical staff at the fictional Chastain Park Memorial Hospital.

The series stars Matt Czuchry as chief resident Conrad Hawkins, Emily VanCamp as nurse practitioner Nicolette “Nic” Nevin and Manish Dayal as second-year resident internist Devon Pravesh. Shaunette Renée Wilson portrays surgical resident Mina Okafor, Bruce Greenwood as Chief of Surgery Randolph Bell, Malcolm-Jamal Warner as cardiothoracic surgeon August Jeremiah Austin and Jane Leeves as orthopedic surgeon Elizabeth Katherine “Kitt” Voss.

Season 6 of The Resident aired in 2022. The series was canceled in 2023.
