Abigail Heringer

Abigail Heringer is a reality TV personality best known for competing on The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise. Heringer was diagnosed with congenital hearing loss shortly after birth and received cochlear implants at age 2. She graduated from South Salem High School and went on to earn a degree in finance from Linfield College in 2017.

Heringer worked as a financial analyst before rising to national attention in 2021 as a contestant on season 25 of The Bachelor starring Matt James. She made franchise history as the first deaf contestant and was awarded the first impression rose during the premiere episode.

After her time on The Bachelor, she joined the cast of Bachelor in Paradise season 7 in 2021, where her relationship with fellow contestant Noah Erb began. The two left the show separately but reconnected after filming.

Outside of reality TV, the Bachelor alum has used her platform to advocate for accessibility and representation for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community.

Heringer released a book titled The Deaf Girl in September 2024, detailing her experiences with her disability and her time on The Bachelor.

Heringer and Erb tied the knot in October 2024.
