
Allyson Felix
Allyson Felix is a retired Olympic track and field star known as the most decorated American track athlete in history. Felix was born and raised in Los Angeles alongside her older brother, Wes Felix. She attended Los Angeles Baptist High School, where she quickly emerged as a sprinting standout after trying out for the track team in high school. She went on to enroll at the University of Southern California and competed for the USC Trojans while launching her professional career.
Felix rose to international prominence at the 2004 Athens Olympics, where she won silver in the 200 meters at just 18 years old. She went on to dominate global competitions, earning multiple gold medals at the Olympics and World Championships. Over the course of her career, she captured 11 Olympic medals across five games, including standout performances at the Beijing, London and Tokyo Olympic Games.
In addition to her success on the track, Felix became a leading advocate for maternal health after speaking out about her own life-threatening pregnancy complications. She has also collaborated with multiple sports and lifestyle brands, including Athleta, and, in 2021, she launched the footwear company Saysh.
Felix married Kenneth Ferguson in 2018. The couple share daughter Camryn (born in 2018) and son Trey (born in 2024).
