Tristan Thompson

Tristan Thompson started his career in basketball at a young age before committing to The University of Texas at Austin. He chose to leave at the end of his freshman year to enter the 2011 NBA draft and was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the fourth round.

Thompson remained on the Cavs for nine years, helping the team win the 2016 NBA Finals — its first championship in 52 years. After brief stints with the Boston Celtics, Sacramento Kings, Indiana Pacers, Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers, Thompson returned to the Cavs in 2023.

Thompson began dating Khloé Kardashian in September 2016. At the time, his ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig was pregnant with the former couple’s first child. She gave birth to son Prince that December. Thompson welcomed his first baby with Kardashian, a daughter named True, in April 2018, after he was caught cheating with multiple women. He and Kardashian initially stayed together but ultimately called it quits in February 2019 when Thompson kissed Kylie Jenner’s then-BFF Jordyn Woods.

Us broke the news in August 2020 that Thompson and Kardashian reconciled, but they split for good by June 2021. Six months later, news broke that Thompson was sued for child support by Maralee Nichols, who claimed she got pregnant after they hooked up in March 2021. Nichols gave birth to son Theo in December 2021, and Thompson confirmed his paternity one month later. He and Kardashian welcomed their second child together, son Tatum, via surrogate in July 2022.
