Alex Rodriguez

Heralded as one of the best all-around players in Major League Baseball, Alex Rodriguez (nicknamed A-Rod) is the third baseman for the New York Yankees.

Born in 1975 and raised in Miami, Rodriguez began playing baseball in high school where he won several championships. In 1993, he turned down a scholarship offer from the University of Miami to sign with the Seattle Mariners instead. He successfully played there until he signed with the Texas Rangers in 2000 and then the New York Yankees in 2004.

In 2008, he was linked to Madonna and was rumored to be the reason why the pop singer filed for divorce from husband Guy Richie in November 2008. Coincidentally, in July 2008 his wife Cynthia Rodriguez also filed for divorce. He had a whirlwind romance with actress Kate Hudson for a few months before splitting with her in December 2009. He has two daughters, Natasha and Ella.

Rodriguez started dating singer Jennifer Lopez in July 2017. They got engaged in March 2019 but later split in April 2021 after previously seeking professional help for their relationship.

In 2023, Rodriguez officially confirmed his relationship with his new girlfriend Jacyln Cordiero.
