
Stephen Curry
Stephen “Steph” Curry is best known as a champion NBA player with the Golden State Warriors.
Steph was born Wardell Stephen Curry II, named after his father Wardell “Dell” Curry who was also a basketball player. While Steph was born in Ohio, he grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, where his father played with the Hornets. Steph and his younger brother, Seth Curry, grew up attending their dad’s basketball games and practices.
In 2006, Steph began his collegiate basketball career at Davidson College where he broke countless records for the school and the Southern Conference. Three years later, Steph entered the 2009 NBA draft where he was selected by the Warriors as the seventh overall pick.
Steph won his first MVP award and championship with the Warriors in 2014. Steph has won a total of four NBA championships and two MVP awards. He is also a two-time scoring champion, a ten-time all-star and Olympics gold medal winner.
In his personal life, Steph and Ayesha Curry tied the knot in 2011. The couple welcomed daughters Riley in 2012 and Ryan in 2015, followed by sons Canon in 2018 and Caius in May 2024.
