David Beckham

David Beckham is a former professional soccer player and one of the world’s most recognizable athletes. Born in London, England, Beckham developed a passion for soccer at a young age and briefly attended Chingford County High School before joining Manchester United’s youth academy.

Beckham signed to Manchester United as a trainee in 1991 and left for one season before returning in 1995, making his premiere league debut shortly after. He rose to fame as a midfielder and helped lead the club to multiple Premier League titles and a UEFA Champions League victory in 1999. Beckham also captained England’s national team and later played for Real Madrid, LA Galaxy, AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain.

Beyond soccer, Beckham has been involved in multiple fashion campaigns and business ventures, including his role as co-owner of Inter Miami CF. He has also appeared in documentaries, including Netflix’s Beckham, which chronicled his career, marriage and life in the spotlight. He also appeared on programs including Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and Good Morning America.

Beckham married Victoria Beckham in 1999 after the pair began dating in the late 1990s. The couple share four children: Brooklyn Beckham (born in 1999), Romeo Beckham (born in 2002), Cruz Beckham (born in 2005) and Harper Beckham (born in 2011).
