Lebron James
LeBron James started his professional NBA career at age 18 with the Cleveland Cavaliers, where he played from 2003 to 2010. He then joined the Miami Heat, winning his first two NBA championships in 2012 and 2013, before returning to the Cavaliers in 2014. James signed with the Lakers in 2018, and James earned his fourth NBA Finals MVP title after winning the championship in 2020. Three years later, James surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and became the leading scorer in league history.
James is recognized as one of the greatest players in history and has four NBA championship wins under his belt. He earned two Olympic gold medals while representing the U.S. in 2008 and 2012.
James established the LeBron James Family Foundation in 2004, and the organization has held an annual bike-a-thon since 2005 to raise money for various causes. In 2015, James announced a partnership with the University of Akron to provide scholarships for 2,300 students beginning in 2021.
LeBron married his high school sweetheart, Savannah James, in 2013. The couple have three children: Bronny (born in 2004), Bryce (born in 2007) and Zhuri (born in 2014). In 2024, Bronny was drafted to the Lakers.
