Hope Solo

Hope Solo is a former professional soccer player widely considered one of the best soccer players of all time.

Born on July 30, 1981, in Richland, Washington, she earned the apt nickname “Solo” due to her tendency to take charge on the soccer field. She began playing soccer at a young age and went on to play for the US Women’s National Team, winning a gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics and helping the team win the 2015 World Cup.

Throughout her career, Hope has won numerous awards and accolades, including being named Female Player of the Year by the US Soccer Federation in 2012 and 2013. She was also named to the FIFA FIFPro World11 in 2012 and 2013.

In addition to her work in soccer, Hope has also appeared on several TV shows, including Dancing with the Stars and The Bachelor. She has also written a book, Hope Solo: My Longest Shot, which was released in 2019.

Solo is married to former American football player Jerramy Stevens. The two have been together since August of 2012.
