About

Jesse Palmer is a former NFL football player, bachelor and current television host. Palmer began his career playing football at the University of Florida where he was a quarterback under Heisman Trophy winner Steve Spurrier. In 2001, he was drafted by the NFL’s New York Giants, where he played as back-up quarterback for four years.

The athlete made his reality TV debut when he was cast as The Bachelor on the fifth season of the ABC show, which premiered in 2004. Palmer presented his final rose and ultimately chose Jessica Bowlin, but their love only lasted a few months post show.

In 2021, the former Bachelor returned to the franchise as its permanent host, replacing long-time host Chris Harrison. He became the first host of The Golden Bachelor and The Golden Bachelorette. Palmer also served as an analyst for ESPN and announcer for the SEC Network.

Palmer found a love of his own with photographer and model, Emely Fardo — the pair started dating in 2017 before tying the knot in 2020. They welcomed their first child Ella Reine in early 2024.
