Russell Wilson is an American football player and the husband of pop star Ciara.

Wilson was drafted as a quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks in 2012, and he helped the team win Super Bowl XLVIII. The NFL star remained with the Seahawks until 2021, and he signed with the Denver Broncos in 2022. After being released the next year, Wilson played for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2024. He signed a one-year contract with the New York Giants in March 2025.

The pro athlete launched his The Why Not You Foundation in 2014 to help motivate and empower kids. Two years later, Wilson cofounded the Good Man Brand apparel line.

Wilson has been married to Ciara since 2016 and they share three children: Sienna (born 2017), Win (born 2020) and Amora (born 2023). Wilson is also the stepfather to Ciara’s eldest son, Future, from a previous relationship.
