Amy Schumer

Amy Schumer got her big break in 2007 when she finished in fourth place on Last Comic Standing. Schumer went on to produce, direct and star in her own comedy series, Inside Amy Schumer, from 2013 to 2016, which earned her a Peabody Award and an Emmy. She made her big screen debut in 2015’s Trainwreck, which she also wrote and coproduced.

Schumer has since starred in Snatched (2017), I Feel Pretty (2018) and The Humans (2021). She also headlined numerous stand-up specials, including Amy Schumer: Live at the Apollo (2015). In February 2016, Schumer released her memoir, Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo. She earned a Tony Award nomination for her Broadway debut in Steve Martin’s comedy play Meteor Shower in 2017. Her series Life & Beth, which she writes, directs and stars on, premiered in 2022.

Schumer married chef Chris Fischer in February 2018 after a few months of dating. The pair welcomed their first child, son Gene, in May 2019. Schumer and Fischer announced their separation in December 2025.
