
Aviva Drescher
Aviva Drescher is a reality television personality best known for her role on The Real Housewives of New York City. Drescher was born and raised in New York City. She lost her left leg in a farming accident at age 6, resulting in a below the ankle amputation and later a full below the knee amputation. She attended Vassar College and later earned a law degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, going on to work in real estate and philanthropy.
Before joining reality television, Drescher worked alongside her husband in the real estate industry and was involved in several charitable causes. She joined The Real Housewives of New York City in 2012 for its fifth season, quickly becoming a central figure on the Bravo series. Her time on the show brought her significant attention, raising her public profile and cementing her place in Housewives history.
Outside of reality TV, Drescher has been an advocate for amputees and individuals with disabilities. She released a memoir, Leggy Blonde, in 2014, detailing her childhood accident and personal journey.
Drescher was first married to Harry Dubin, with whom she shares a son, Harrison. She later married Reid Drescher in 2006, and they share children Hudson and Sienna. She is also stepmother to Reid’s daughter Veronica.
