Cameron Mathison is an actor and television personality known for his many roles in daytime soap operas. After earning his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from McGill University in Montreal, Mathison transitioned into the entertainment industry working as a model and appearing in commercials, marking the start of his acting career. In 1998, he made his feature film debut in 54.

In December 1997, Mathison was cast as Ryan Lavery on the ABC soap opera All My Children, making his first onscreen appearance in January 1998. For this role, he received Daytime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in 2002 and 2005.

In 2007, Mathison participated in the fifth season of Dancing with the Stars, finishing in fifth place alongside Edyta Śliwińska. He later expanded his career into hosting, becoming a correspondent for Good Morning America in January 2009. He also hosted the reality series Ultimate Proposal and the renovation show Game of Homes.

Mathison married model Vanessa Marie Arevalo in July 2002, and they have two children: Lucas (born April 2003) and Leila (born July 2006). In September 2019, he announced his diagnosis with renal cell carcinoma and took time away from acting for treatment. In July 2024, Mathison and Arevalo announced their separation after 22 years of marriage.
