Gabriel Macht

Gabriel Macht was born in the Bronx, New York, and moved to California where he spent his early childhood with his parents and three siblings. He graduated from the Carnegie Mellon College of Fine Arts in 1994.

Macht made his Hollywood debut in the 1980 film Why Would I Lie. He went on to appear in multiple projects both on the screen and stage, including Sex in the City and The Spirit. He landed his first recurring role in the 2000 TV series The Others.

The actor is most well known for his role as Harvey Specter in the USA Network show Suits, which ran from 2011 to 2019. Following the end of the show, Macht took a break from acting to focus on his family. In January of 2025, it was confirmed that he would reprise his role as Harvey Specter in NBC’s Suits spinoff Suits LA.

Macht married wife Jacinda Barret in 2004, and the couple welcomed their first child, Satine, in 2007. They welcomed their second child, Luca, in 2014.
