Patrick J. Adams

Patrick J. Adams is an actor best known for his role as Mike Ross on Suits. Adams was born in Toronto, Canada, and moved to Los Angeles as a teenager after his parents’ divorce. He later attended the University of Southern California, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in acting.

Adams began his career with guest appearances on television series including Cold Case, Lost and Friday Night Lights. His breakthrough came in 2011 when he was cast on Suits as Mike Ross, quickly becoming a fan favorite for his performance as the brilliant college dropout with a photographic memory. The role brought him widespread recognition and a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series.

In addition to Suits, Adams has appeared in projects such as Pretty Little Liars, Legends of Tomorrow, Pillow Talk and The Right Stuff. He has also worked in theater, appearing in the Broadway revival of Take Me Out in 2022. In 2026, he joined the cast of The Madison.

Adams married Troian Bellisario in December 2016 after several years of dating. The couple share daughters Aurora, Elliot and Imogen, whom they welcomed in 2018, 2021 and 2026, respectively.
