Gary Valentine

Gary Valentine is an actor and comedian and the brother of actor Kevin James. Valentine grew up on Long Island, New York. After graduating from high school, he began pursuing stand-up comedy and did not attend college.

Valentine launched his career as a stand-up comic, performing at clubs across the country and making appearances on The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn and the Montreal Comedy Festival. His breakout came when he was cast as Danny Heffernan on the CBS sitcom The King of Queens, in which he acted alongside his brother. He later had a recurring role on the show Kevin Can Wait.

The actor went on to appear in several comedy films, including I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry (2007), Paul Blart: Mall Cop (2009) , Zookeeper (2011) and Here Comes the Boom (2012). In 2022, he appeared in Netflix’s Home Team, and the following year, he starred in the comedy Grumpy Old Santa.

Valentine tied the knot with Jackyline Knipfing in 1993.
