Harry Hamlin

Harry Hamlin is an Emmy-winning actor and author. He first began acting as a teenager, participating in school productions before pursuing an education in acting. He earned a dual bachelor’s degree in acting and psychology from Yale University in 1974. Hamlin then went on to attend the American Conservatory Theater.

His first onscreen appearance was in the 1976 TV movie Taming of the Shrew. Three years later, he landed himself a role on the TV miniseries Studs Lonigan in which he played the titular character. He gained the attention of audiences nationwide after being cast as Perseus in the action film Clash of the Titans (1981). One of Hamlin’s most well known roles was as Michael Kuzak on the legal drama L.A. Law, where he remained a principal cast member from 1986 to 1991.

Some of Hamlin’s later work includes appearances in Veronica Mars, Shameless and Mayfair Witches. He was cast in the sixth season of Mad Men as Jim Cutler, and the role earned him the 2013 Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series.

In 2010 the actor published a book entitled Full Frontal Nudity: The Making of an Accidental Actor.

In 1979, Hamlin was announced to be in a relationship with actress Ursula Andress, and their son Dimitri was born the following year. The pair split in 1983. He was then wed to Laura Johnson from 1985 to 1989. In 1991, he married Nicollette Sheridan, and the couple were together for a year before their divorce.

In 1997, Hamlin tied the knot with actress Lisa Rinna. The couple share two daughters: Delilah, born in 1998, and Amelia, born in 2001. The family appeared on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills throughout Rinna’s tenure on the show from 2014 to 2022.
