JoJo Siwa

JoJo Siwa (born Joelle Joanie “JoJo” Siwa) is a singer, dancer and media personality best known for her appearance on Dance Moms. Siwa spent her childhood in Omaha, Nebraska, and began dancing at age 2. She was homeschooled and spent her childhood as a competitive dancer , later choosing to become an entertainer full time.

She first gained national attention in 2015 on season 4 of Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition and later appeared on Dance Moms, where her outspoken personality and oversized bows made her a breakout star. She launched a YouTube channel, JoJo Siwa Vlogs, which quickly grew in popularity and helped her expand her brand to include music, merchandise and TV appearances.

The Nebraska native signed with Nickelodeon in 2017 and appeared in several of the network’s projects including JoJo Siwa: My World and The J Team. She later appeared on season 30 of Dancing With the Stars and made show history as the first star to be paired with a professional dancer of the same sex. Siwa and pro Jenna Johnson came in second place.

In 2025, she appeared on Celebrity Big Brother UK, where she sparked dating rumors with costar Chris Hughes.

Siwa came out as part of the LGBTQ+ community in 2021. She’s previously been linked to Kylie Prew, Avery Cyrus and Kath Ebbs. In June 2025, she confirmed her relationship with Hughes after months of speculation from the public.
