Kristen Doute

Born in Dearborn, Michigan, in 1983, Kristen Doute moved to Los Angeles in her 20s and landed a job at Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant SUR. The aspiring model and actress was subsequently featured on Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules, which followed the SURvers at the West Hollywood hotspot.

After eight seasons on the show, Doute was fired in June 2020 after racially insensitive comments from her past resurfaced. Doute, who owns a T-shirt line called James Mae, released her first book, He’s Making You Crazy, weeks before the scandal.

Vanderpump Rules viewers watched Doute’s tumultuous relationship and breakup with Tom Sandoval during the first three seasons of the show. Doute later dated DJ James Kennedy and Brian Carter. Us Weekly broke the news in April 2020 that Doute started seeing Alex Menache. The duo called it quits in June 2022. That same month, the TV personality met Luke Broderick. They went Instagram official in December 2022.

Doute and Broderick got engaged in September 2024. Two months later, Doute announced her pregnancy with baby No. 1.
