Shawn Mendes

Shawn Mendes signed to Island Records in 2014 after he gained a following on the video-sharing app Vine. Mendes’ first studio album, Handwritten, was released in 2015 and debuted on the Billboard 200. He subsequently released Illuminate (2016), Shawn Mendes (2018) and Wonder (2020), becoming the youngest male singer ever to top the Billboard 200 with four studio albums.

In July 2019, Mendes began dating Camila Cabello, with whom he collaborated on “I Know What You Did Last Summer” and “Señorita.” The couple split in November 2021, and while they briefly reconciled in April 2023, they called it quits again two months later.
