
Shayne Lamas
Shayne Lamas is an actress and reality TV personality best known for winning season 12 of ABC’s The Bachelor and, later, for appearing on the family reality series Leave It to Lamas. Shayne is the daughter of actor Lorenzo Lamas and granddaughter of actress Arlene Dahl. She grew up in a Hollywood family alongside her siblings, including AJ Lamas and Dakota Lamas.
Lamas began her career with small acting roles in television projects before gaining national attention in 2008 when she competed on The Bachelor. She received the final rose from bachelor Matt Grant, making headlines when the pair ended their engagement months after the finale aired.
Following her reality TV success, she appeared alongside her family on E!’s Leave It to Lamas, which documented the lives of the Lamas family. She has appeared in films including Endless Bummer (2009) and Deep in the Valley (2009). On television, she’s starred in Air America and General Hospital.
Lamas married blogger Nik Richie, founder of celebrity gossip website TheDirty.com, in Las Vegas in 2010 after a brief whirlwind romance. The couple welcomed daughter Press Dahl Lamas-Richie (born in 2011) and son Lyon Lamas-Richie (born in 2015 via surrogate). Richie filed for divorce in 2021.
