T.J. Holmes

Born Loutelious “T. J.” Holmes Jr. in West Memphis, Arkansas, in August 1977, the TV journalist rose to fame as a CNN correspondent, starting his career with the network in 2006 after working for local affiliates in his home state, Missouri and California. In December 2011, Holmes moved to BET, where he hosted the original series Don’t Sleep.

After a brief return to CNN, Holmes joined ABC News in September 2014, working as an anchor on World News Now, America This Morning and Good Morning America. In September 2020, he became the coanchor of GMA3: What You Need to Know alongside Amy Robach.

Holmes shares two children, daughter Brianna and son Jaiden, with ex-wife Amy Ferson, whom he divorced in 2007. In November 2010, he married attorney Marilee Fiebig. The duo welcomed daughter Sabine in January 2013. Holmes made headlines in November 2022 when he was photographed holding hands with Robach while still married to Fiebig.
