It’s the most wonderful time of the year … for morning show cohosts, at least. The Good Morning America team went all out for Halloween 2016, dressing up as Pikachu from Pokémon, Madea, Captain America and so much more.
Michael Strahan started the spooky holiday off right as he dressed up as an oversize Pikachu. He even busted out some goofy dance moves for GMA‘s self-proclaimed Celebrity Pokémon Party. Gio Benitez also got into the Poké-spirit, donning a cute Jigglypuff costume.

Meanwhile, T.J. Holmes channeled his inner Madea in Tyler Perry‘s signature red dress, several pearl necklaces, glasses and, of course, a curly gray wig. Holmes was then joined by Jesse Palmer, who made his way through the crowd outside Times Square in New York City dressed as Captain America.
Lara Spencer also got in on the fun, dressing up as Lin-Manuel Miranda‘s titular Hamilton character, Alexander Hamilton. She even busted out a quick rap for viewers, sparking some cheers from the crowd.
As for the other cohosts? Meteorologist Ginger Zee looked adorable as forgetful Pixar fish Dory, anchor Amy Robach gave her best interpretation of Sia (complete with the singer’s signature blonde wig) and Alfonso Ribeiro and Sara Haines wowed as spot-on Ghostbusters.
Dancing With the Stars pro dancers (and expectant parents) Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd were also on site, dressed as Suicide Squad’s the Joker and Harley Quinn, respectively.
