Countdown to Mockingjay!
The first official photocall for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 has gone down, and naturally, all of your favorite gals—including Jennifer Lawrence—turned it out for the photo op in London on Sunday, Nov. 9.
Games‘ leading lady, Lawrence, 24, worked a black top tucked into a winter white suit by Public School to meet up with her castmates. The witty blonde added silver heels to the ensemble. Lawrence also styled her bob—chopped after dying her hair too many times to play brunette Katniss so that it could heal—into loose waves, completing her power look.
But she wasn’t the only one ready for her close-up! Lawrence’s female costars, including Elizabeth Banks, Julianne Moore, and Natalie Dormer joined her at the Corinthia Hotel, each one clearly receiving the memo to model cool prints and fierce heels. (See Dormer’s Hunger Games transformation here!)
And then, the whole gang came on out. Mockingjay‘s gentlemen—Liam Hemsworth, Donald Sutherland, Sam Claflin, and Stanley Tucci—snuck in for some extra shots to kick off the international press tour for the much-anticipated film, in theaters Nov. 21. (However, Josh Hutcherson, Lawrence’s second love interest in the film, was notably absent.)

Two of the cast, however, got an early start on racking up their sky miles: Lawrence and Hemsworth, 24, visited Wetten, das…?, an Austrian TV show, on Nov. 8, to promote the film and decorate matching chocolate cakes in celebration. While the Aussie actor put a smiley face on his cake (“very creative,” noted Lawrence), the Kentucky-bred Oscar winner iced a horse head onto her cake, joking that she should “probably eat [the icing]; it’ll help with the creative process.”
Obviously close with one another, Hemsworth previously stated that it was Lawrence who helped him during his split from Miley Cyrus in 2013. “Being around someone like Jen, who is so honest and laughs all day long, I am forced to be in the right now. I’m much happier,” the Last Song actor said to the AP.
