
Elizabeth Banks
Born February 10, 1974, actress Elizabeth Banks was raised in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Her notable TV and film credits include Wet Hot American Summer, Zack and Miri Make a Porno, The Hunger Games, 30 Rock and W.
Banks graduated from the University of Pennsylvania; it was there that she met her future husband, sportswriter and producer Max Handelman. Their son, Felix, was born via surrogate in March 2011. In November 2012, Banks announced that another son, Magnus, had joined their family.
The actress made her film debut in 1998’s Surrender Dorothy. She was later cast in Definitely, Maybe (opposite Ryan Reynolds), Invincible (opposite Mark Wahlberg) and Meet Bill (opposite Aaron Eckhart).
Banks, an Emmy Award nominee, is a supporter of the American Heart Association.
