About

Corey Haim was a Canadian actor and teen idol best known for his work in hit 1980s films including Lucas and The Lost Boys. Haim was born in Toronto, Canada, where he began acting at a young age after being noticed at an audition and landing small television roles. He later focused on building a full-time acting career throughout his childhood and teenage years.

Haim’s early career took off in the mid-1980s with roles in projects such as Murphy’s Romance (1985) and Silver Bullet (1985). His breakout came in 1986 when he starred as the titular character in Lucas, acting opposite Charlie Sheen and Winona Ryder. He quickly became one of Hollywood’s most recognizable teen stars, frequently appearing on magazine covers and becoming a fixture of pop culture.

He went on to star in The Lost Boys (1987), License to Drive (1988), Dream a Little Dream (1989) and Never Too Late (1996).
