Deepti Vempati

Deepti Vempati is an Indian American reality television personality and data analyst best known for appearing on Netflix’s Love Is Blind. Vempati was born in India and moved to the United States with her family as a child. She attended Bradley University where she earned a degree in psychology and business management before beginning her career as an information data analyst in Chicago.

Vempati gained national attention in 2022 when she joined the cast of Love Is Blind Season 2. She became engaged to Abhishek “Shake” Chatterjee but ultimately chose to walk away at the altar, shocking viewers. Her decision and outspoken reflections on self-worth made her a notable figure from the season.

Following the show, Vempati expanded her platform on social media, frequently posting lifestyle content. In 2022, she published her debut memoir, I Choose Myself, which chronicles her personal history and experience on the Netflix series. She has also pursued public speaking and cohosts the podcast “Out of the Pods” with Love Is Blind costar Natalie Lee.

Following her reality TV stint, Vempati briefly dated castmate Kyle Abrams before the pair split.
