
Ethan Embry
Ethan Embry (born Ethan Philian Randall) is an actor known for his roles in both film and television. Embry spent his childhood in Los Angeles and began acting at age 12, making his film debut in the 1991 romcom Defending Your Life. He later attended the Long Beach Polytechnic High School before pursuing his acting career full-time.
Embry’s standout performances in films like Dutch (1991), Can’t Hardly Wait (1998) and Vegas Vacation (1997) solidified him as a recognizable face in Hollywood. His breakthrough role came with Empire Records (1995), in which he portrayed the rebellious teen Mark.
Throughout his career, Embry appeared in a number of highly acclaimed films, including Sweet Home Alabama (2002) and The Client List (2010). From 2015 to 2022, Embry was a cast member of the sitcom Grace and Frankie. He’s also appeared in shows such as House, The Walking Dead and Sneaky Pete.
The actor was married to actress Amelinda Smith from 1998 to 2002. They share son Cogeian (born in 1999). He later married actress Sunny Mabrey in 2005. The pair filed for divorce in 2012, but reconciled the following year and remarried in 2015.
