Jackson Rathbone

Jackson Rathbone (born Monroe Jackson Rathbone V) is an actor and musician. Rathbone was raised in a military family and moved often throughout his childhood before settling in Texas. He attended Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan, where he studied acting, and later moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film and television.

Rathbone began his career with guest roles on shows like The O.C. and Close to Home before landing a recurring role on the early 2000s drama Beautiful People as Nicholas Fiske. His breakout came in 2008 when he was cast as Jasper Hale in Twilight, a role he reprised throughout the rest of the franchise.

Twilight’s global success allowed him to land roles in films such as The Last Airbender (2010), City of Dead Men (2014) and The Hammer (2017). He later starred on shows such as Finding Carter and The Last Ship.

The actor has also pursued a music career as a member of the band 100 Monkeys. The group was active from 2008 to 2012 and released five studio albums during their time together.

Rathbone married Sheila Hafsadi in 2013. The couple has three children: Monroe (born in 2012), Presley (born in 2016) and Felix (born in 2020).
