Jane Krakowski is an American actress and singer known for her dynamic performances on both stage and screen. She was born Jane Krajkowski in Parsippany-Troy Hills, New Jersey, before attending the Professional Children’s School in New York City and the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University.

Krakowski’s early career included her debut in the 1983 film National Lampoon’s Vacation. She moved into television and theater, eventually gaining wide recognition for her role as Elaine Vassal on the series Ally McBeal from 1997 to 2002. Her performance earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Series. She later starred as Jenna Maroney on the NBC comedy series 30 Rock from 2006 to 2013, earning four Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.

Krakowski also appeared in the Broadway revival of Nine (2003), for which she won a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical. She has also appeared in Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Dickinson and hosts the reboot of Name That Tune.

In her personal life, Krakowski became engaged to designer Robert Godley in 2009. They share son Bennett Robert Godley (born in 2011). The couple separated in 2013.
