Jennifer Meyer

Jennifer Meyer is a jewelry designer best known for her eponymous brand. Meyer was born in Los Angeles and is the daughter of entertainment executive Ronald Meyer. She studied child and family psychology at Syracuse University before returning to Los Angeles to pursue a career in fashion and design.

Meyer began working in public relations at fashion houses like Giorgio Armani before shifting her focus to jewelry. She learned jewelry making from her grandmother and launched her own line, Jennifer Meyer Jewelry, in 2003. Her designs gained national attention after being featured in The Break-Up in 2006, worn by Jennifer Aniston.

Her brand quickly grew in popularity, with pieces appearing in magazines and on red carpets. Celebrities including Reese Witherspoon, Selena Gomez and Kate Hudson have worn her signature pieces. In 2007, Meyer was named “Jeweler of the Year” by Us Weekly and received further recognition in the fashion industry for her minimalist gold and diamond designs. She also designed exclusive collections for Barneys New York and Goop.

Meyer tied the knot with actor Tobey Maguire in 2007. The couple have two children: daughter Ruby (born in 2006) and son Otis (born in 2009). They announced their separation in 2016 and finalized their divorce in 2020. She later moved on with sports agent Rich Paul, and the two briefly dated before going their separate ways. In 2024, she got engaged to Geoffrey Ogunlesi.
