
Jesse Plemons
Jesse Plemons is an actor known for his acclaimed performances in film and television, including Friday Night Lights, Breaking Bad and The Power of the Dog. Plemons spent his early years in Dallas, Texas, where he developed an interest in acting at a young age. He began auditioning for various roles as a child, building a profile that later expanded into mainstream success.
Plemons began his career as a child actor with guest television roles before landing his breakout role as Landry Clarke on Friday Night Lights, which he joined during the show’s inaugural season in 2006. He later gained widespread attention for his role as Todd Alquist on Breaking Bad, a performance that significantly raised his profile.
Plemons went on to appear in notable films like The Master (2012), Black Mass (2015), Game Night (2018) and Judas and the Black Messiah (2021). He earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor for The Power of the Dog (2021) and won the Best Actor award at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival for Kinds of Kindness. Some of his later works include Killers of the Flower Moon (2023), Zero Day and Black Mirror.
Plemons is in a long-term relationship with Kirsten Dunst, whom he met while working on Fargo. The couple wed in 2017 and share two children, Ennis Howard (born in 2018) and James Robert (born in 2021).
