Marina Squerciati is an actress known for her role as Officer Kim Burgess in Chicago P.D.
Squerciati began her acting career when she made her Broadway debut in an adaptation of To Be or Not to Be. She starred in off-Broadway shows such as Manipulation, Beauty of the Father and more.
She made her feature film debut in 2009 as Melanie in It’s Complicated, starring Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin. Squerciati transitioned to television the same year with a guest appearance on Law & Order: Criminal Intent. In 2011, she received an eight-episode story arc as Alessandra Steele in Gossip Girl during its fifth season, making her first recurring role in a television show.
In August 2013, NBC announced that Squerciati would portray Officer Kim Burgess in the Chicago Fire spinoff Chicago P.D. The show premiered on January 8, 2014, and season 12 debuted on September 25, 2024.
Squerciati is married to attorney Eli Kay-Oliphant. The couple welcomed their daughter in May 2017. The actress announced in December 2024 that they quietly welcomed their second baby earlier that year.
