Meagan Good

Meagan Good is an actress and producer known for her roles in Eve’s Bayou, Think Like a Man, Shazam! and Harlem. Good was born in Los Angeles, California, where she began acting at the age of 4. She was home schooled from the sixth grade and later chose to pursue acting full-time.

Good’s early work included appearances in commercials and small roles on television. She gained recognition for her performance as Cisely Batiste in Eve’s Bayou in 1997. In the early 2000s, she appeared in several teen and young adult films, including 3 Strikes (2000), House Party 4: Down to the Last Minute (2001) and Biker Boyz (2003).

She later starred in box office hits like Stomp the Yard (2007), Jumping the Broom (2011) and Think Like a Man (2012) and its 2014 sequel. She later played the role of Super Hero Darla in Shazam! (2019) and Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023). On television, she had lead roles in Deception, Minority Report and Californication and, in 2021, she joined the cast of Amazon Prime Video’s Harlem as Camille.

Good married producer and author DeVon Franklin in 2012. The couple announced their separation in 2021 and finalized their divorce in 2022. In 2023, she began dating actor Jonathan Majors, and the two tied the knot in 2025.
