
Nicholas Brendon
Nicholas Brendon (born Nicholas Brendon Schultz) is an actor best known as a cast member of the hit television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Criminal Minds. As a child Brendon had a stutter, and the decision to pursue acting helped to build his confidence.
Brendon’s first Hollywood gig was a minor role on the sitcom Married… with Children. He went on to land more small roles both in television and film before being cast as Xander Harris in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which premiered in March 1997. He made a name for himself on the national stage with this role, and remained a cast member until the acclaimed, beloved show’s end in 2003. In 2007, he was cast as Kevin Lynch in the renowned crime drama Criminal Minds. He also appeared in the 2013 thriller Coherence.
From 2001 to 2006 Brendon was wed to actress Tressa DiFiglia. He tied the knot with Moonda Tee in 2014, but the couple separated five months later.
