Oliver Stark

Oliver Stark (born Oliver Leon Jones) is a British actor best known for his role as firefighter Evan “Buck” Buckley on the ABC drama 9-1-1. Stark spent his childhood in London, England and attended Hendon School in North West London. He later trained at North London’s Identity School of Acting. Before pursuing a full-time acting career, he worked various jobs including in tech support and retail.

Stark began acting in short films and on British television series in the early 2010s. He landed his first onscreen role on the medical drama Casualty in 2011 and later appeared on shows such as Luther, Dracula and Big Bad World. In 2015, he took on his first recurring role as Ryder on Into the Badlands.

The actor’s breakout came in 2018 when he was cast as Buck on 9-1-1, where he has remained a principal cast member of the show.

In addition to his long-running work on 9-1-1, Stark has appeared in films such as MindGamers (2015) and Underworld: Blood Wars (2016).

Stark was last linked to actress Hannah Gottesman in 2022.
