Penn Jillette
Penn Jillette is a magician, comedian and television personality best known as one half of the long-running duo Penn & Teller. Jillette spent his childhood in Greenfield, Massachusetts, where he developed an early interest in performance and language. He trained at Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College, an experience that shaped his physical comedy style and stage presence.
Jillette began performing professionally in the late 1970s and partnered with Teller after meeting in Minnesota. The pair gained momentum through off-Broadway shows and live performances that blended magic, comedy and skepticism. Their act broke into the mainstream with television appearances and international tours, establishing them as one of the most recognizable magic acts in the world.
Over the years, Jillette has starred in and produced numerous projects with Teller, including Penn & Teller: Bullshit!, Penn & Teller Get Killed (1989) and the competition series Penn & Teller: Fool Us. The duo has maintained a long-running Las Vegas residency and received multiple industry honors, including a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Jillette has authored several books, including his debut novel, Cruel Tricks for Dear Friends (1989).
Jillette married Emily Zolten Jillette in 2004. The couple share a daughter, Moxie, and a son, Zolten.
