Piper Perabo

Piper Perabo is a Golden Globe-nominated actress who studied theater at Honors Tutorial College after graduating high school. She landed her first agent when she was discovered at her then-boyfriend’s audition. Perabo moved to New York City shortly after, working as a waitress to support herself while acting in local theater productions.

Her first film role came in 1999 when she landed the role of Sara in the movie Whiteboyz. The following year, Perabo struck gold with her appearance in the dramedy Coyote Ugly. The film was a box office hit and helped establish the actress as a mainstream talent. She later went on to feature in films such as She Gets What She Wants (2002), Cheaper by the Dozen (2003) and Because I Said So (2007). She made her Off-Broadway debut in the production Reasons to Be Pretty in 2008.

Perabo has also been successful on TV and boasts appearances on shows such as House and Law and Order: Criminal Intent. In 2010, she signed on to the USA drama Covert Affairs, and she played the lead role of Annie Walker until the show’s end in 2014. She went on to play a recurring role on the Showtime drama Billions from 2022 to 2023.

The actress joined the cast of the Emmy-nominated western drama Yellowstone as the recurring role of Summer Higgins in 2021.

Perabo wed to director Stephen Kay in 2014, and she is stepmother to Kay’s daughter.
