Rande Gerber

Rande Gerber is a former model and businessman, known for cofounding Casamigos Tequila with George Clooney. Gerber grew up in Hewlett, New York, and earned a degree in marketing from the University of Arizona.

Gerber began his career as a model in the 1980s before transitioning into nightlife and hospitality. He opened Whiskey Bar in New York City in 1991, which became the foundation for the Gerber Group, a portfolio of bars and lounges across the U.S. and internationally.

In 2013, he partnered with Clooney and Mike Meldman to launch Casamigos Tequila, which became one of the most successful celebrity-backed liquor brands. The company was sold to Diageo in 2017 for a reported $1 billion. Gerber has continued to maintain a presence in both the hospitality and spirits industries.

Gerber married supermodel Cindy Crawford in 1998. The couple share children Presley Gerber (born in 1999) and Kaia Gerber (born in 2001), both of whom have pursued modeling careers.
