Tish Cyrus

A music manager and podcast host, Tish Cyrus is the mother of musicians Miley, Noah, Brandi and Trace Cyrus.

Tish met then-future husband Billy Ray Cyrus in 1991 after his divorce from ex Cindy Smith. They wed in 1992 before welcoming Miley that same year. Son Braison and daughter Noah followed in 1994 and 2000, respectively. Before marrying Billy Ray, Tish had welcomed eldest children Brandi and Trace with a past partner. The “Achy Breaky Heart” singer adopted them upon his wedding to Tish.

Miley was the first Cyrus offspring to get the Hollywood bug, landing the titular role on Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana at the age of 14. Tish went on to become her daughter’s manager, later taking charge of Noah’s own musical career.

Tish and Brandi launched their “Sorry We’re Cyrus” podcast in 2024.

Tish filed for divorce from Billy Ray in 2013 but called off her petition within a month as they reconciled. She refiled her petition in 2022, claiming in court documents that they separated in 2020. The divorce was settled that same year.

Tish started dating Prison Break star Dominic Purcell following her divorce, getting engaged in April 2023. They wed five months later in an intimate ceremony held at Miley’s Malibu home.
