Walton Goggins

Walton Goggins is an Emmy-nominated actor known for his roles in The Shield, Justified, The Hateful Eight and The White Lotus. Goggins was raised in Lithia Springs, Georgia. He briefly studied at Georgia Southern University before moving to Los Angeles to pursue acting full time.

Goggins landed early work in small television roles and low-budget films before gaining attention as Detective Shane Vendrell on FX’s The Shield, which aired from 2002 to 2008 and later as Boyd Crowder on Justified, which aired from 2010 to 2015. His performance on the latter earned him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2011.

He later appeared in major films such as Django Unchained (2012), The Hateful Eight (2015), Tomb Raider (2018) and Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018). On television, he starred on HBO’s Vice Principals and CBS’s The Unicorn. He later landed a recurring role as Baby Billy Freeman on The Righteous Gemstones. He received his second Emmy nomination in 2024 for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series in recognition of his role on Prime Video’s Fallout.

In 2025, the actor joined the season 3 cast of HBO’s Emmy-winning dark comedy The White Lotus, acting alongside Leslie Bibb and Aimee Lou Wood.

Goggins was married to Canadian filmmaker Leanne Kaun from 2001 until her death in 2004. In 2011, he married filmmaker Nadia Conners. The couple has one son, Augustus, born in 2011.
