Zosia Mamet is an actress and writer best known for her role as Shoshanna Shapiro on HBO’s Girls and for starring in The Flight Attendant. She was born in Randolph, Vermont, to playwright David Mamet and actress Lindsay Crouse, and raised in Los Angeles. After graduating from Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences, Zosia chose to pursue acting full time.

Zosia began acting in the early 2000s, with small roles on series like The Unit and United States of Tara. She gained wider recognition in 2010 with a recurring role as Joyce Ramsay on Mad Men. Her breakout came in 2012 when she was cast by Judd Apatow on HBO’s Girls, appearing in all six seasons.

Following Girls, Zosia starred in films including The Boy Downstairs (2017), Under the Silver Lake (2018) and Alone Together (2022). From 2020 to 2022, she played Annie Mouradian on HBO Max’s The Flight Attendant. She’s also appeared in off-Broadway productions like Really Really (2013) and Crimes of the Heart (2013). In 2025, she starred in the comedy Fantasy Life alongside Amanda Peet.

Zosia tied the knot with actor Evan Jonigkeit in 2016 after several years of dating.
